J.Woodward & Sons 12 bore hammer

A 12 bore double barrel hammer gun by James Woodward & Sons, London. Rebounding locks, rotary under lever and a non ejector. Has two pairs of damascus barrels in 27” and 30”, both London nitro proved. Serial No. 4440. Made c.1890. It has crisp, fine scroll engraving and a silver/grey natural patina. All housed in a mahogany case with a Woodward trade label. A set of Mike Marsh tools and cleaning kit in rosewood and brass. Together with a Brady canvas outer cover.

Stock – The highly figured walnut stock was fitted in 1999 and a silver initials oval is fitted. Balance is on the hinge pin with 27” and on the fore end knuckle with the 30”.
Length Of Pull – 15 3/8” from front trigger.
Cast – Right handed 7/8”
Drop – 1 3/16″ at comb, 1 7/8″ at heel.
Forend – Rotary under lever.

Una belleza total, una anciana con pinta de señorita de 20 !! Y el precio me parece mas que acomodado, por no decir barato.
