We have known for decades from past experience that the unequaled value appreciation of an investment in a Peter Hofer weapon lies in the individual handcrafting that goes into each weapon. The price tag for an hour invested today rises relentlessly as time passes. For this single shot rifle we decided to invest a maximum of time and effort to create a sumptuous relief engraving. We not only chiseled the animal scenes very deeply into the background, but also the ornamentation, then we inlaid 24ct massive gold to refill half of that depth.

The technical and artistic concept cannot be surpassed; undoubtedly this weapon will find its place in some happy hunter’s collection as its crowning glory. A clever collector with an eye for beauty and a good investment, one who also knows that no king or other potentate will ever own or hunt with a more valuable weapon in the future.




Technically nothing is missing. Peter Hofer sidelock with catchbar, ejector, double under locks lug with Kersten lock. Octagonal barrel in the hardest steel, this allows for smaller dimensions. The stock is made of 980- year-old walnut burr.

This wonderful high power rifle is made to the smallest dimensions. It is very easy to handle and can be fired rapidly, the ejector is very helpful here.

When disassembled, the barrel, which is the longest part of the rifle measures 59cm (approx. 26 inches). This means, the rifle can easily be carried in a backpack when walking the rough countryside. For travelling, the rifle can be taken along inconspicuously in almost any neutral suitcase, even in a handcrafted leather gun case in which the gun can be fitted like a glove.
